This famous scene from the epic Ramayan shows Lakshman , the brother of Lord Ram, gravely injured by a powerful arrow from Indrajit ( Ravana’ s son) during the battle of Lanka. To save Lakshman, a special herb called Sanjivani buti is required. Lord Hanuman, sent by Lord Ram, unable to identify the buti, lifts an entire mountain and brings it to the battlefield which ultimately saves Lakshman’s life.
While the existence of Sanjivani buti remains a matter of legend, the essence of the sanjivani buti continues to inspire and symbolise hope and healing in various cultural and spiritual contexts.
